New Date for Fundraiser Concert

Please join us for a special musical fundraising event honoring author/singer/composer Lauren Lane Powell. A native of South Bend, Indiana, she has touched the lives of many people locally, as well as around the country as she shared her gift with Unity Churches everywhere. We'd like to give back to her by honoring her with music and taking a love offering to put toward her future final expenses.

Lauren was diagnosed with Ovarian cAnswer (as she calls it) in 2012. After going through "chemo dreamo" (another of her reframing/renaming ideas) three times, doing cancer diets, all the metaphysical, spiritual and positive mindset 'work', plus a new drug out of trial phase - she was told she's reached the platinum level of unresponsiveness. We learned on August 16th 2018 that, even if she chooses chemo aimed at slowing cancer spread, she has 12 to 18 months to be here on the planet with all of us.

For 6 years she had the determination to heal and thrive and get back to what she loves (which also meant returning to work). She is now unable to do that.

She is the first to say: I'm wrapping my head and heart around what it means to shift from 'how do I get through this and live?' - to 'how can I die well, in love and in allowing and in a way that gives people a glimpse of how you can marry hope with acceptance?'

Lauren's sister, Kristen Lee Hartnagel will be present and will be performing, as well as John WisemanMelaney Miller Gabris and others. If you would like to be considered to perform, please message Melaney, clicking her name above.

For updates on her condition, she is posting often right now on her business page at:
