Would you like to be part of an interfaith effort to assist local food banks, help communities like Houston recover from disasters, and empower people around the world to meet their needs? Click here to support the Unity Team in the annual St. Joe County CROP Hunger Walk. The walk starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24 at Zion United Church of Christ, 211 S St. Peter St. (across the street from Howard Park). You may register as a walker and ask people to sponsor you with a financial donation or you may sponsor a walker with your donation.
Another great way to support the CROP Hunger Walk is to eat at Panera Bread at 4310 N Main St, Mishawaka on Monday, Sept. 25 between 4:00-8:00 p.m. Panera will donate a portion of all proceeds that evening to the CROP Hunger Walk, but you will need to show a flyer (hard copy or electronic) for your purchase to count. Download a flyer here. If you’d like to join some fellow Unity people, we’ll plan to meet at 6:00 p.m. at Panera that evening to eat together.”
